Stefan Raab is back on television – and is now planning his return on Saturday evening. However, the announced broadcast date of his new show is explosive.
Shortly before Christmas, there will be another show competition on German television between entertainer Stefan Raab and his former house broadcaster ProSieben. As is now known, ProSieben will broadcast the finale of its music guessing show “The Masked Singer” on December 21st – the Saturday before the holidays – at 8:15 p.m., in which costumed celebrities compete in singing. The show, moderated by Matthias Opdenhövel, is considered a highlight of the ProSieben program.
Raab, however, will compete with it depending on the situation. RTL has announced that it will broadcast the first new Saturday evening show with the entertainer since his return to the screen. It’s called “Stefan and Bully against some Schnulli”. Raab appears in it with Michael “Bully” Herbig (“LOL”). Broadcast date also: December 21st, 8:15 p.m.
Raab once shaped ProSieben’s program for years with his shows until he surprisingly retired from the screen in 2015. He’s been back since September and is now working for RTL – for example with his weekly show “You won’t win a million here with Stefan Raab” on the streaming service RTL+. New episodes are always published on Wednesday evenings – while ProSieben runs its old format “TV total”, which Sebastian Pufpaff now presents. Some observers see this as a direct attack on their former home station.
