For years, fans of Marvel They waited to see what exactly he planned to do Marvel Studios with Daredevil. In recent years, we have had some progress. Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Coxmade a brief but exciting appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Furthermore, we could see it in She-Hulkwhere Matt and Jennifer Walters had a brief romance. How Daredevil: Born Again will connect with the Netflix series
“At first there was talk of reinventing everything, to see if Matt was a slightly different person,” Cox tells the Empire portal. “But it ended up being more of a continuation.” From the looks of it, Born Again will exist in the same continuity as the Defenders series, providing context for everything to come. “Much of the story continues,” Cox says. “The relationships and dynamics established in previous seasons still exist”.

Most notable is the dynamic between Matt and his best friends Foggy (Elden Henson) and Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll). While the trio often had their differences in the Netflix series (largely due to Matt’s late-night activities as the red-suited vigilante Daredevil), they reunite in Born Again and, as established in the final episode of the Daredevil season 3, law team Nelson & Murdock is now officially Nelson, Murdock & Page.
“It’s been a few years,” Cox explains. “In that time, Matt, Foggy and Karen have found a pretty good rhythm.” But nothing disrupts that rhythm like the meddling of the terrifying Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), also known as Kingpin. “Matt has made peace with his role as lawyer and vigilante”says Cox. “Then, of course, shit hits the fan.”
