The collaboration between ICP Hub México, Zona Tres Labs and the Autonomous University of Nayarit seeks to train students and professionals in high-demand skills such as blockchain and software development.
The winning projects will be part of ICP’s next incubation program, fostering practical applications of advanced technologies and driving innovation in Latin America.
First place was won by Secure Data Hub, a project that impressed with its innovation and usefulness. In second place was Eco Coin, an initiative focused on sustainability, and third place was occupied by Histo Care, with a health-oriented proposal.
Innovation and strategic alliances
The collaboration between the Autonomous University of Nayarit, Zona Tres Labs, and ICP Hub México marks a new chapter in the technological training of students and professionals in Mexico and Latin America.
This joint effort seeks to prepare new generations in key technological skills, such as blockchain and software development, fundamental pillars in the future of work.
As part of this alliance, technology bootcamps were organized prior to the hackathon, providing participants with basic knowledge in blockchain and other emerging technologies. This prior training allowed us to maximize the impact and quality of the projects presented at the event.
The success of the hackathon not only highlighted the potential of the participants, but also ICP Hub México’s commitment to training talent in the region.
In addition, the initiative includes specialized training for teaching staff, ensuring that future generations graduate with skills aligned with the demands of the global labor market.
In collaboration with Zona Tres Labs, several projects born from the hackathon are expected to be incubated next year as part of the fourth technological incubation journey of ICP Hub México.
