Davis won an Oscar for best supporting actress and a Golden Globe for Fences 2016 and has three other nominations in her career: best actress for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (2020) and The Help (2011) and best supporting actress for Doubt (2009). He also has six other Golden Globe nominations, most recently for The Woman King of 2022.
