In August the musician had announced his retirement from the stage through his social networks due to his delicate state of health.

“Hello friends. Unfortunately, I have to give you news that I never wanted to give. At 84 years old, with all the desire to continue, I have had an illness that does not allow me to sing, play or continue with the band.”, he began saying.
He then took the opportunity to thank all the friends and fans who supported them for so many years. “I really thank you with all my heart, but I can’t continue anymore,” he lamented.
In closing, he regretted having to leave the stage, but he was grateful for all the time shared. “This is news that one never wants to give, but it happens and I want to thank everyone who has supported me for so much love, affection and recognition. Friends and fans of the networks, a big hug for you, greetings”, he concluded.
