“From Zero” to the top: The US band Linkin Park breaks several records at the top of the charts – and also occupies several places in the hit lists with their album and singles.

After the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington, who took his own life in 2017, Linkin Park was quiet for a long time. About two months ago the band surprisingly returned – with Emily Armstrong as the new singer and Colin Brittain as the new drummer. Since then, the fans’ enthusiasm has continued – they have already announced four concerts in Germany for 2025.
Christmas classics in the top 10
Christmas songs are also continuing to make their way up – there are now 17 Christmas songs in the single charts. Two classics even crack the top ten: Mariah Carey with “All I Want For Christmas Is You” at number eight and “Last Christmas” by Wham! in ninth place. Further up the list is the German artist Nina Chuba with her song “Fata Morgana” in second place, fourth place is “APT.” by K-pop icon ROSÉ and R&B singer Bruno Mars.
In the album charts, Die Toten Hosen are sailing into second place with their 40-year-old classic “Under a False Flag,” as it was said from Baden-Baden. The metal band Sodom lands in third place with a reissue of their 1992 record “Tapping The Vein”.
