Annalena Baerbock says little about her family life in public. The Foreign Minister explained the reason to the Berliner Tagesspiegel a year ago. “Since Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, targeted Russian propaganda on the Internet has also increased on a personal level. This brings with it particular security concerns, especially as a woman and if you have children. I regret this very much, because it is important to me “Not to isolate myself as a politician.”
When Baerbock became Foreign Minister in 2021, Holefleisch had given up his job at Deutsche Post / DHL and started working as a communications consultant.
