Bobby Brederlow is dead. The German actor died at the age of 63, his brother confirms.
The German actor Bobby Brederlow (1961-2024) is dead. Gerd Brederlow has confirmed, among others, to the Munich “tz” that his brother has died at the age of 63.

Bobby Brederlow became known as the first actor with Down syndrome in Germany. He took on his first roles in the late 1990s. He was seen, among other things, in the hospital series “For All Cases Stefanie”, in “Rosamunde Pilcher” productions and in “Tatort”. During his career, Bobby Brederlow was awarded, among other things, the Federal Cross of Merit and a Bambi.
“He left us at two in the morning, carrying his teddy bear in his arms,” said on November 22nd. According to the report, he had been grooming Bobby for the past few years. Brederlow could no longer work as an actor either. that he will no longer appear in front of the camera in the future. “My brother can’t shoot anymore,” Gerd told the daily newspaper at the time. “I was hoping for improvement, but now Bobby is a total need for care.” The actor was diagnosed with dementia.
The 2002 film “Bobby” is based on Brederlow’s life. Veronica Ferres (59) was also seen in it. “I was blown away by Bobby’s warmth, openness and ability to love right from the start,” she told “Bild” in 2018.
