Cheyenne Ochsenknecht: Tense relationship with father Uwe

Cheyenne Ochsenknecht (24) has been in the public eye since she was born – a circumstance that was not always easy for the daughter of Uwe (68) and Natascha Ochsenknecht (60). The 24-year-old now openly explains that her childhood as a celebrity had many downsides: “Of course my dad was never there because he was in his full acting prime when I was born, 24 years ago.”

Her mother wasn’t always able to support her either: “My mother was very sick, and I actually saw her very rarely because she was in the hospital a lot,” reveals Cheyenne Ochsenknecht. And her two older brothers, Jimi Blue (32) and Wilson Gonzalez (34), weren’t there much either. While the brothers were in front of the camera for the film series “The Wild Guys”, a Croatian nanny looked after Cheyenne – not an easy time for the now 24-year-old.

The parents’ public separation and divorce was also difficult: “It definitely wasn’t that great. When both parents who actually fathered you argue and suddenly they hate each other, (…) that wasn’t the case so great,” she explains.

Today, Cheyenne has a close relationship with her mother Natascha again, she has also built her own life with her husband Nino (29), and they live on a farm in Styria with their two children. However, there is still a crisis with her father Uwe: since she moved to Austria six years ago, he has visited her four times, she explains. “It’s a matter of priority. He lives in Mallorca, we have direct flights from Graz to Mallorca, but he says that visiting us and the grandchildren is not his first priority.”

Things have been “up and down” between the two since their parents divorced. “After 14 years of running behind, I somehow don’t feel like it anymore,” admits the 24-year-old. “I don’t have any contact with my father either, I’ve given up.” Her partner Nino “filled a gap” that she had had her whole life. She also sees this in his relationship with their daughters. Moderator Aurel Mertz (35) sums up: “You are a great example of how you can build your own family and environment and find your own happiness.”

Natascha and Uwe Ochsenknecht married in 1993, the couple separated in 2009 and divorced in 2012. Cheyenne Ochsenknecht has been in a relationship with her partner Nino since 2019 and has been married since 2022. The couple’s daughter was born in 2021 and a son in 2023.
