The American game show veteran Chuck Woolery is dead. The host of programs such as the US edition of “Wheel of Fortune” and the dating show “Love Connection” has died at the age of 83,
“It breaks my heart to tell you that my dear brother @chuckwoolery just passed away. Life won’t be the same without him, RIP brother,” Mark Young wrote on the platform alongside pictures with Woolery, including posing in one Gun shop. The 83-year-old’s death has now also been published. Accordingly, Woolery suddenly had breathing problems at his home in Texas and died before the emergency doctor arrived.
Woolery’s career: From dating host to conservative opinion maker
Woolery hosted “Wheel of Fortune” for six years, had his own talk show “The Chuck Woolery Show” for a time and was host of “The Dating Game”. He also made guest appearances on shows like “Cold Feet” and “Scrubs” and starred in a reality show about his life called “Chuck Woolery: Naturally Stoned.” In 2007, Woolery was inducted into the American TV Game Show Hall of Fame.
After his time as a game show host, he concentrated on politics as a conservative talk show host and opinion maker. He hosted a nationally broadcast radio show called “Save Us Chuck Woolery” as well as the podcast “Blunt Force Truth” where Young was his co-host.
Chuck Wollery was married four times and leaves five children.
