Stallone picture sold at auction for $410,000

A picture painted by Sylvester Stallone has changed hands at a high price for the fight against AIDS.

The Foundation for AIDS Research, or amfAR for short, has transformed the most sinful city in the USA into a charitable stronghold. The nonprofit organization’s gala took place for the first time in Las Vegas. Numerous celebrities also did the honors, especially Sylvester Stallone (78) and his wife Jennifer (56). Together they were pleased to receive an honor at the event – the couple received the Award of Inspiration for their charity work.

At the event moderated by Jay Leno (74), Stallone immediately provided a large financial injection for the foundation. The Hollywood star auctioned off a painting that was created after “Creed II” and was painted by Stallone himself. The work was worth almost half a million US dollars to one bidder – in the end it changed hands for $410,000 and for a good cause.

A “Tulsa King” reel was also up for auction

A bidder with acting ambitions also came along. David Glasser (53), who produces the Stallone series “Tulsa King” for Paramount+, offered a so-called “walk on screen” role. This is a form of extra role in which the person in the background of the event walks through the picture.

Actor Ian Bohen (48), who also took the auction stage for the occasion, joked: “If it helps, my role in ‘Yellowstone’ started as a walk-on role and lasted seven years. So you’re really bidding on something Exciting.” The argument was apparently successful – the mini roll was ultimately auctioned off for $300,000.

A pleasant side effect for all fans of the series, whose second season had just ended: A third season of “Tulsa King” has not yet been officially confirmed. The auctioned role now indicates that new episodes will be filmed soon.
