Kanye West: Model makes serious allegations against rapper

Former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Jenn An is making serious allegations against Kanye West in a lawsuit. While filming a music video in 2010, the rapper allegedly choked her and stuck his fingers down her throat. The indictment, which is available to Page Six, was filed Nov. 22 in New York federal court.

The model accuses the rapper of asking a camera crew to film him choking her while filming a music video. It is said to be the music video for the song “In for the Kill” by La Roux, on whose remix West participated.

The lawsuit states that Jenn An was working as a supporting cast member for the video at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City in September 2010 and was only wearing “revealing underwear” when West showed her to the camera crew and said, “Give me that Asian girl.” The model claims she told West, “I don’t have much on,” to which he responded, “That’s why I chose you.” He then ordered the other actresses to leave the room.

The model also claims that West “towered over” her and was “breathing heavily” when he asked the camera crew to take a close-up of her face and used a “circling hand” to simulate “forced oral sex” on her. “On camera, Defendant West began choking Plaintiff with one hand. He then placed his other hand around her neck and continued to choke her with both hands,” the lawsuit states, according to Rolling Stone. “He then rammed several fingers down her throat, moving them in and out constantly and gagging her for more than a minute.”

Jenn An further claims that the rapper was screaming “This is art. This is fucking art. I’m like Picasso.” “Plaintiff was gasping for air and felt as if she had temporarily blacked out. When Defendant West decided he was done with Plaintiff, her face was covered in saliva and smeared makeup,” it continues.

The lawsuit names Universal Music Group (UMG) as a co-defendant, as An claims the company failed to investigate the incident. The model accuses UMG in the documents that West’s “gendered, hateful and offensive controversies” were “too profitable for the company as a brand to intervene despite his unlawful conduct.”

Neither Kanye West nor Jenn An appear in the final version of the music video for “In for the Kill”. The model took part in the 13th season of “America’s Next Top Model” in 2009 and came third. In recent years she has worked as an actress, including for “Criminal Minds”.

It is the latest in a series of lawsuits against Kanye West, who has legally renamed himself Ye, in recent months. In October, a former assistant of the musician and entrepreneur accused him of “sexual assault” and that he had drugged her.
