Jason Momoa and his mother have a tradition. “Christmas isn’t until Barbra Streisand sings it!” revealed the actor.
Jason Momoa (45) knows exactly which button to press to immediately get into the Christmas spirit. He revealed what it takes: music by Barbra Streisand (82).
The “Game of Thrones” actor apparently doesn’t make any compromises. “Every year, Christmas doesn’t start until Barbra sings it,” Momoa said. And makes it clear: “I’m a huge fan.” The tradition of listening to the “Christmas Album” from 1967 every Christmas was started by his own mother. “My mom used to play me Barbra Streisand’s Christmas album, and I listened to it over and over again,” Momoa said. “This is our thing, me and my mother.”
Christmas with mom, the children and their friends
Mom Momoa is also expected to be able to spend Christmas with her son and grandchildren this year. When asked about the holidays, the actor reports on his plans: “I’m going to Montana with my mother and my children and some of their friends. We’re going snowmobiling,” says the father of two. “My son is already pretty good at it, so I’m going to teach my daughter a little more.” His son Nakoa-Wolf (15) and daughter Lola (17) come from his marriage to his ex-wife Lisa Bonet (57).
Snow is generally very important to Momoa at Christmas: “I’m looking forward to playing in the snow,” he says. “I’m going to throw some snowballs and do some snowboarding.” Even though he comes from warm Hawaii, he loves the cold white at Christmas and makes it clear: “I need snow, man!”
