Special premiere guests in Berlin: Hugh Grant appeared at the screening of his film “Heretic” with his wife Anna Eberstein.

Hugh Grant (64) graced the premiere party of his horror film “Heretic” at the Astor Film Lounge in Berlin on Sunday (November 24th). The British acting star appeared with his wife Anna Eberstein (41). The couple opted for elegant looks in black.

Grant wore a black velvet jacket teamed with a white shirt and black pants. His wife, with whom he has been married since 2018 and has three children, matched his outfit. The Swedish TV producer chose a black tweed dress with velvet appliqués and gold buttons. Strappy heels, a statement bangle and a clutch, also all in black, completed the look. The two appeared arm in arm and beamed into the cameras for the photographers.

Hugh Grant shares three children with Anna Eberstein: daughters Blue (6) and Lulu Danger (8) and son John Mungo Grant (12). Two other children, daughter Tabitha Xiao Xi (13) and son Felix Chang Hong (11), come from the liaison with actress Tinglan Hong (45). In the podcast “SmartLess” he recently shared an honest confession about his late fatherhood with listeners. The actor, who became a father for the first time at the age of 52, explained that he had had children “much too late in life”. “Now I’m 64 and the youngest is six and I need a long stay at a spa or an abbey,” Grant joked in the interview.

“Heretic”: That’s what it’s about

In his new film “Heretic” (German cinema release: December 26, 2024), two young missionaries knock on the wrong door and are greeted by Hugh Grant alias Mr. Reed, who involves them in a deadly game of cat and mouse. In an interview with “Extra”, the Brit spoke about his transformation from the charming womanizer, which he portrayed in various films, to his first dark leading role in a horror film: “It’s more fun to be the bad guy than the good guy.” he said. “Do-gooders are difficult. It’s very difficult to make them not boring.”
