Adele on future after shows: “Don’t have any damn plans”
Adele performed regularly in Las Vegas for two years, and the pop singer had her last appearance there at the weekend. She also spoke emotionally about her future.
Singer Adele said a tearful goodbye to her fans at the final performance of her series of shows in Las Vegas and expressed her uncertainty about her next steps. “I’m really shitting myself wondering what I’m going to do,” the 36-year-old said in fan videos from the show shared on social media. “I don’t have any damn plans.”
The Brit appeared for the last time in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday evening. In the casino city in the US state of Nevada she has had a series of shows called “Weekends With Adele” since November 2022. In the summer, the multiple Grammy award winner announced that she wanted to take a break.
“Singing is the only thing I’m good at”
The singer assured her fans on Saturday that she would “definitely” give concerts again at some point. “Singing is the only thing I’m good at,” explained the pop star. “I just don’t know when I’ll want to come on stage next.” Adele told her fans that she would “miss them terribly”.
