The group made up of Rosario Ortega, Zorrito Von Quintiero and Fernando Samalea, musicians from Charly García’s band, come together to celebrate the maestro once again.
Modern Beats arrives again at the Vorterix Theater to celebrate Charlie Garcia. After selling out their show on October 25the band announced a new show for next Wednesday, December 18at 9 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at allaccess.com
Zorrito Von Quintiero, Fernando Samalea and Rosario Ortegathree current members of the bicolor maestro’s band, come together for this celebration a few weeks after the release of the album “La logic del escorpión.”

Some musicians from his legendary band from the ’90s will also be present, “The Nurses”and several surprise guests.
The initiative to get together to celebrate the work of the local rock icon came from Rosario Ortega and quickly excited Zorrito and Samalea. The ceremony includes 8 musicians on stage, their 3 leaders along with Joaquin Burgos (keyboard, voice), Lu Torfano, Dizzy Espeche (guitars), Michelle Bliman (saxes) and Andres Rot (bass), always accompanied live by various guests.
With a repertoire that revives Charly’s best songs with contemporary treatments, the event is a commemorative party for the “García culture.”

“The Logic of the Scorpion” is now available
Argentine music icon Charly García, 72, finally released “The Logic of the Scorpion”their first album since “Random”in 2017, with unreleased songs, remakes of his own and other people’s songs and collaborations with other rock legends.
The album, which the musician began recording four years ago, can now be heard on digital platforms and a limited edition of 7,000 copies on vinyl was also put on sale, with cover art by the musician’s historic collaborator Renata Schussheim.
