Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban: Are they moving back to their native Australia?

The Australian couple Nicole Kidman (57) and Keith Urban (57) have settled in America for years. But that could soon change, as an anonymous source suggests. The reason for this is the tragic loss that the actress suffered last September: Kidman’s mother Janelle Ann (1940-2024) died at the age of 84. After the funeral in Sydney, the actress is said to be considering moving back to her homeland permanently.

After her mother’s death, Kidman is said to have thrown herself into work: she jetted around America to promote her latest films and film another project. This is why her relatives allegedly fear that Kidman will overreach himself. “The big concern on everyone’s mind is: How much more can she take?” said the insider.

Urban also has a lot to do, they say. The 57-year-old is now reportedly considering retiring after a 10-day concert series in February to spend more time with Kidman.

Kidman was in attendance at this year’s Venice Film Festival, where she was scheduled to accept the Best Actress award. In the Italian city she learned of her mother’s death. Kidman canceled the award ceremony without further ado. “My heart is broken. […] I’m in shock and have to go to my family. But this prize is for them. She shaped me, she guided me, and she made me,” Kidman said in a statement about the Dutch director Halina Reijn (49).
