Ralph Siegel only keeps in touch with two of his daughters. He now spoke brutally openly about the falling out with Giulia and Marcella.
Hit producer Ralph Siegel (79) has revealed how much he suffers from the estrangement from his two eldest daughters Giulia Siegel (50) and Marcella Siegel (born 1976). In addition to Giulia and Marcella, the “Fiesta Mexicana” composer also shares his biological daughter Alana Siegel (28) with his second wife Dagmar Kögel. Adopted daughter Ruby has brought his current, fourth wife Laura Siegel (41) into his life. “I get along wonderfully with Alana and Ruby,” said Siegel in the “Bunte” magazine. Things are different with his two older daughters.
Ralph Siegel puzzles over a break with his daughter Marcella
“It’s still unclear to me why Marcella and I suddenly have radio silence,” the ESC composer continues. And that despite the fact that he “steered her entire life with love and goodwill, at least until her 40th birthday.”
Things are clearer for model and reality star Giulia, who most recently took part in the Legends Jungle Camp on RTL. “I expelled Giulia from my house one evening after an unbearable discussion,” reveals Ralph Siegel. He speculates that his current inheritance arrangements may have played a role here, because his fourth marriage “to the fourth wife and fourth child” changed the inheritance.
Wish for an end to radio silence
However, the musician, who is suffering from cancer, says he would like to see an improvement in his family situation in the future. “I love all of my children and am very unhappy about it. I would be happy if this radio silence ended because I suffer a lot from it,” said Siegel.
About his current state of health, the 79-year-old revealed to “Bunte” that a back operation and a change in his diet had recently given him relief. “My values are all in the green at the moment and I’ve been sitting in the studio full of joy for a few weeks now.”
