“I have made the decision to dismiss the Coordinator of Casa de las Leyes, Mr. Pablo Ruiz, from office, by virtue of the investigation initiated, seeking ensuring that the actions of the Public Prosecutor’s Office are not interfered with and thus guaranteeing the independence of the judicial branch“.
Meanwhile, he stated that the legislative staff has “instructions to fully collaborate with Justice” and that everything that was required to delve into the investigation was immediately delivered to “facilitate” the actions of the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPF).
For his part, the defense attorney for the brother of the head of the Legislature, Federico Dioriodeclared that “There is no formal accusation against him” and that it is a “political strategy to harm Gloria’s image.”
