Difficult times for ex-jungle camper Jasmin Herren: The star is facing bankruptcy. Nevertheless, she remains optimistic. The problem will be solved next year.
Difficult times for reality TV star Jasmin Herren (45): insolvency proceedings were opened against her. The widow of entertainer Willi Herren (1975-2021) has debts of 400,000 euros. However, for her, the insolvency proceedings were “the best thing I could do to get out of the situation,” said Herren in the interview. The reason for her current financial misery are difficulties from the time of her marriage to the late singer and actor Willi Herren, as she openly admits.
Although she doesn’t want to “hold her head” for her late husband, she now has to “process the aftermath of the marriage.” “I have never gotten into debt myself, but the burdens from my marriage to Willi have caught up with me,” explains Herren openly. Among other things, Willi’s former insolvency administrator is demanding over 200,000 euros from her. The reason: On the advice of Willis’s tax advisor, she founded the company SE Starkton Event UG and ran it for four months.
Fees were processed through this during Willis’s insolvency. She lodged an objection. A total of ten creditors would demand money, including the Cologne tax office: “They are demanding an additional tax payment of 50,000 euros for business for 2017, even though I have never run a business but am a freelance artist.”
Jasmin Herren still remains optimistic
Despite the difficult financial situation, the ex-jungle camper is optimistic about the future. She wants to get back on her feet with a new business idea: In mid-December, she and her friend Anwar opened a “beauty club” in Leverkusen. The trained medical beautician wants to offer treatments there herself. “In my situation as a reality actress, it is important to think about the future and not always just work on orders,” she emphasizes. Your goal is to emerge from bankruptcy within a year.
“I can continue to sing and earn money,” she says happily. “Larger sums will go to the creditors, but I can also earn money for myself because I have a deductible of around 1,500 euros.”
