James Van Der Beek recently made his cancer diagnosis public. Now he looks back on his “difficult year” in an admirable way.

Actor James Van Der Beek (47), who recently announced that he was suffering from colon cancer, has taken a remarkable path: showing him arm in arm with his wife and their six children, the “Dawson’s Creek” star wrote: ” It’s been a tough year… and I’m grateful for everything for the gigantic realignment of my life that cancer has put in my way.”
