Bob Bryar, former drummer for US rock band My Chemical Romance, was found dead in his home. He was only 44 years old.

The American indie rock band My Chemical Romance (“Welcome to the Black Parade”) laments the death of their former drummer Bob Bryar (1979-2024). According to media reports, the musician was found dead in his home in the US state of Tennessee on November 26th.

Since its founding in 2001, the band led by singer Gerard Way (47) has changed its drummer several times; Bob Bryar was part of the group between 2004 and 2010. After his departure, Bryar worked in various other projects and in recent years he worked as a real estate agent.

the 44-year-old musician was last seen alive on November 4th. Judging by the apparently “badly decomposed condition” of his body, Bryar must have died some time before he was found. According to the law enforcement agencies involved, there is no suspicion of a crime and all weapons and instruments in Bryar’s house remained untouched.
