On Thanksgiving of all days, action star Arnold Schwarzenegger received a bomb threat – a SWAT team stormed his villa.
Two days before the US Thanksgiving holiday on November 28th, Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger (77) distributed frozen turkeys and other delicacies to people in need in his adopted home of Los Angeles and was in his usual good mood. On the day of the festival itself, however, this may have fallen into the basement after the police had to storm his private property.
False alarm in the Terminator mansion
the Los Angeles Police Department received a concerning call on Thursday morning. An anonymous caller claimed to have left a bomb in the actor’s mailbox. In order to investigate the potentially life-threatening threat, a SWAT team armed to the teeth was sent to the property of the world-famous action film star. Fortunately, the matter turned out to be a false alarm on site.
Schwarzenegger was not in his villa at the time, but – unsurprisingly – doing muscle training in the gym. The actor’s personal security detail emphasized to police that it would be virtually impossible to plant a bomb in Arnie’s home as his property was protected around the clock by vigilant security and video surveillance.
