“What often upsets me is this basic assumption that you can no longer have (or good) sex in a long relationship anyway!” a reader wrote to me last week.
She is not one of the “doldrum women”, has three children, has been with her husband for 27 years and has “actually always (!) fantastically beautiful sex” with her partner.
But what makes this woman different, I asked myself. Why does she feel like it despite “Duration of the relationship, pregnancies, breastfeeding, periods of stress, physical changes”how she writes?
This question is really bothering me right now. Why do some women have a great sex life despite all of life’s adversities and other women struggle with low libido?
