Kader Loth: Reality star celebrates beauty salon opening

In her 20-year career, Kader Loth (51) has covered almost all reality formats that German trash TV has to offer. By opening her own beauty salon, she is now building up a serious second source of business. She launched the project with a lavish party on November 30th.

The reality queen had already made it clear in advance that the opening of her shop “Kader Loth Beauty” on Berlin’s classy Leibnizstrasse was a project close to her heart, but also had solid financial reasons. She explained to “Bild”: “It has always been important to me to build up a second economic source of support. I am well booked as a reality star, but that also has an expiration date!”

She also revealed that she doesn’t plan to personally stand behind the counter in her store. “I won’t work myself,” said the multiple “Jungle Camp” participant. “I will remain in the background as an investor and owner and will hire a managing director.”

In another interview she made it clear: “I also have to think about my pension, I’m not the youngest anymore. You can’t live on a pension of 400 euros. You never know whether you’ll still be healthy in a few years.” She put all her savings into her latest project and now hopes that it won’t be her last.

At the opening party on Saturday evening, the newly minted business owner clearly stood out from the crowd in her glittering sequin outfit and a glamorous feather crown on her head. But her invited guests, most of whom were also recruited from the German reality star and casting show pool, also dressed up for the occasion.

The party-loving celebrities included former DSDS candidate Annemarie Eilfeld (34) and her singing colleague Doreen Steinert (38), who achieved modest fame around 20 years ago through her participation in the RTL show “Popstars”. The German-Brazilian model Gisele Oppermann (37) was also spotted, as was the DSDS veteran and “jungle camp” macho Cosimo Citiolo (42).
