Comedy stars’ daughter and son engaged
The children of two comedy heavyweights, Martin Lawrence’s daughter and Eddie Murphy’s son, have gotten engaged.
The two American comedians and actors Eddie Murphy (63) and Martin Lawrence (59) will soon be family. The “Beverly Hills Cop” and his “Bad Boys” colleague can celebrate the engagement of their children Eric and Jasmin. Eric Murphy (35) and Jasmin Lawrence (28) shared a video of the romantic proposal with their followers.

In the clip you can see Eric and Jasmin entering a lovingly decorated room before he gets down on his knees in the middle of a sea of lights and in front of a big heart. Other shots show, among other things, the engagement ring and how the loving couple kisses several times.
Jasmin rejoices in an attached comment: “We are engaged! God has truly blessed us with a love that feels like fate.” The two couldn’t be more excited to begin “this next chapter” of their relationship. She also suggests that the engagement probably took place a few days ago, on November 27th.
Eddie Murphy is already waiting for a funny grandchild
It first became known in the summer of 2021 that the children of the two stars were together. Jasmin Lawrence and Eric Murphy also made their love public on the social media platform at the time. He shared in June that he was “head over heels” with her. in July with loving words for her 32nd birthday. Jasmin published, among other things, a picture in which Murphy gave her a kiss on the cheek. She wrote: “I am so incredibly blessed to know you, love you and have you by my side. Here’s to many more gifts, laughs and beautiful memories! I love you so much!”
Meanwhile, Murphy is looking forward to having a funny grandchild – should Jasmin and Eric ever become parents. He said a few months ago that he thought it was “cool” that the two were together. “They’re both beautiful, they look amazing together,” he elaborated. “If they ever get married and have a child, I expect the child to be fun.”
Martin Lawrence has two other daughters, Eddie Murphy is the father of a total of ten children.
