Nicole Kidman wants to meet her older children after her mother’s death. A friend explains the heartbreaking reason.
Nicole Kidman (57) wants to reconcile with her two older children after the death of her mother Janelle in September. Now the heartbreaking reason has been revealed. Accordingly, the Oscar winner is said to be very sad that her late mother did not have the chance to see her two adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise (62) again.
“The loss of her mother has made Nicole no longer want to waste time. It hurt Janelle that she and husband Antony were estranged from Isabella and Connor”, . “They were her first two grandchildren and were once very close,” the source continued. The regret that they couldn’t see each other again fueled their “need for real reconciliation,” it continues.
Kidman and Cruise adopted Isabella, 31, and Connor, 29, in the early 1990s, but after their split in 2001, the two children sided with their father and have not been seen with their mother since 2007. Kidman now has four children: Bella and Connor with Cruise and daughters Sunday (16) and Faith (13) with her current husband Keith Urban (57).
Death notice shortly before the film festival award
Her beloved mother Janelle died in September, just hours before Kidman won best actress on the final day of the Venice Film Festival for her role in “Babygirl.”
“Today I arrived in Venice only to find out shortly afterwards that my beautiful, brave mother had just died,” Nicole revealed in a statement read by director Halina Reijn (49) after her victory. “I’m in shock and I have to go to my family, but this price is for them [ihre Mutter, Red.]she shaped, guided and created me,” said Kidman.
A week later, Nicole Kidman posted several never-before-seen photos of her mother. In the post, the film star thanked his fans and followers for their condolences. “My sister and I and our family would like to thank you for the outpouring of condolences and kindness we have received this week,” she wrote in the joint statement.
Nicole Kidman had a close relationship with her mother and has often spoken about her support and influence on her career over the years. Her father Antony, a psychologist, died in September 2014.
