Robin Gosens worries about teammates
Edoardo Bove’s Florence colleagues are worried about his collapse. The German national player Robin Gosens also spoke up.
Shocking scenes occurred during the Serie A game between AC Fiorentina and Inter Milan on Sunday evening (December 1st): midfielder Edoardo Bove (22) suddenly collapsed on the grass in the 17th minute after tying his shoes, and was transported away by rescue workers after treatment at the stadium. Late in the evening, his club announced that the 22-year-old was being treated in the intensive care unit. Numerous teammates and other footballers reported on social media – including Germany’s national player Robin Gosens (30), who plays with Bove at AC Florence.

Gosens shared a message from the club, linked Bove and wrote in Italian: “Forza fratello” (German: “Fight, brother”). Gosens and Bove have both been playing at AC Fiorentina since the beginning of the 2024/25 season. David de Gea (34), goalkeeper at Fiorentina,: “God Please”. France’s former international Thierry Henry (47) shared a photo of Bove and wrote: “I watched the game and I just froze. My thoughts and prayers are with Edoardo Bove and his family.”
There was no further information about a diagnosis on Monday morning. that Bove is said to have suffered an epileptic seizure and as a result a cardiac arrest. However, this has not been officially confirmed. However, the all-clear was given that evening: Bove was stable and no damage to the nervous or cardiovascular system was found.
