Did the actor rape a woman?
Serious allegations have been made against American actor Malcolm Barrett.
“The Boys” actor Malcolm Barrett (44) has apparently been charged with sexual assault. That’s why investigations are now underway against him, as the mostly well-informed US celebrity portal “TMZ” claims to have found out.
Sex against her will?
Law enforcement sources said a woman contacted the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department last weekend claiming she woke up in bed with the actor touching her after a night of drinking. Barrett then had sex with her against her will. The woman told the officers that she and the actor had been friends for months and that the evening started normally with drinks.
The woman filed a complaint and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau is now handling the case. The actor himself has not yet commented on the allegations.
First roles in the theater
Malcolm Barrett comes from New York City and was already on the theater stage at the age of 16. In 2000, he appeared in a television series, “The Beat”, for the first time. Since then he has appeared in numerous productions such as “The Boys”, “Preacher” and “Timeless”. He also appeared in films such as “Tödliches Kommando – The Hurt Locker” (2008) and “Men are Pigs” (2008).
