“Alarming” blood results: Harvey Weinstein hospitalized
Harvey Weinstein suffers from “a number of illnesses,” his spokesman said. The imprisoned Hollywood producer was taken to hospital.
Former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who was convicted and imprisoned for sexual violence, has been taken to hospital. The 72-year-old’s blood values were found to be “alarming,” his lawyer Imran Ansari told the AFP news agency on Monday. “Immediate medical treatment” is required. Weinstein will remain in the hospital until his condition stabilizes, his lawyer added.

US media reported in October that the former Hollywood producer had been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer. His spokesman said Monday that Weinstein “suffers from a number of illnesses, including leukemia.” He is denied adequate medical care in prison.
