“Ocean’s Eleven” actor Scott L. Schwartz has died at the age of 65. Co-star George Clooney paid tribute to him with touching words.
Actor, former wrestler and stuntman Scott L. Schwartz is dead. He died of heart failure on November 26th at his home in Covington, Louisiana. He was 65 years old.
“Those who knew Scott personally associated him with a cheerful, fun-loving person, a strong, loving person, a foodie and a travel lover,” a representative for the late actor said in a statement. “Scott loved life and everyone he met along the way. When he wasn’t acting, wrestling or telling jokes, he spent his time visiting children with cancer in children’s hospitals.”
“He was a gentle soul”
At the beginning of the 1990s, Scott L. Schwartz took on his first acting roles; he became best known for Steven Soderbergh’s (61) “Ocean’s” film trilogy. In “Ocean’s Eleven” (2001), “Ocean’s Twelve” (2004) and “Ocean’s Thirteen” (2007) he played the strong man Bruiser, who, among other things, pretended to beat up George Clooney’s (53) Danny Ocean behind closed doors.
George Clooney has already reacted to the sad news of his co-star’s death. “I’m sorry to hear that Scott has passed away,” Clooney said in a statement, according to Variety. “We did three films together and I have never been hit so gently. He was a gentle soul and we will miss him very much.”

He made his debut as a professional wrestler in 1979 as “Giant David” before later making his way to Hollywood as a stuntman and actor. He leaves behind his wife and his two children.
