Starting today, Spotify users should be able to see their personal annual review again using the “Wrapped” function. The music streaming provider has published its annual charts.
Taylor Swift’s music has been the most streamed on Spotify this year. The music streaming provider announced this in its annual review “Wrapped”. The 34-year-old will be in first place both in Germany and internationally in 2024.
Spotify states that the American singer, who was on a major world tour this year, has almost 90.4 million monthly listeners. Swift will release her eleventh studio album in 2024. “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology” was the most-streamed album of the year globally.
That was the most streamed music in Germany
In Germany, the most listened to album was “In Liebe” by the 26-year-old musician Ayliva from Recklinghausen. Her song “Wunder,” which she recorded with Apache 207, was the second most streamed song. The song “I like the way you kiss me” by the British musician Artemas is at number one.
The US musician Benson Boone takes third place among the most listened to songs in Germany with “Beautiful Things”. This is followed by “Time that something turns around” by Soho Bani and Herbert Grönemeyer before “Vois sur ton chemin (Techno Mix)” by the German DJ Bennett.
Ayliva is not only in first place among the most streamed albums among users in Germany, but also in third place with “Schwarzes Herz”. In between, Taylor Swift came in second with “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.” The album “Seductive” by the German rapper Luciano is in fourth place, Billie Eilish with “Hit Me Hard and Soft” is in fifth place.
The most streamed podcast in Germany was “Gemischtes Hack” by Felix Lobrecht and Tommi Schmitt. Behind it are the podcasts “Mordlust” by Paulina Krasa and Laura Wohlers and “Kaulitz Hills – Mustard from Hollywood” by Bill and Tom Kaulitz.

Internationally, the most streamed song was Sabrina Carpenter’s hit “Espresso”. This is followed by “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone, “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish, “Gata Only” by the Chilean singer FloyyMenor and “Lose Control” by the American Teddy Swims.
After Swift, the internationally most popular albums on Spotify are by Billie Eilish (“Hit Me Hard and Soft”), Sabrina Carpenter (“Short n’ Sweet”), Karol G (“Mañana será bonito”) and Ariana Grande (“eternal sunshine”) ).
According to Spotify, it currently has 640 million monthly active users and 252 million paying subscribers worldwide. The music streaming service offers a personal music annual review every year, which is very popular. Apple Music announced its annual charts on Tuesday.
