Hulst believes that although AI has the potential to revolutionize video game development, It can never replace the ”human touch” What a person can give you.

Despite recognizing the capabilities of AI in the process of automating various aspects of a video game, the co-CEO emphasized the importance of creativity and human ingenuity: ”AI has so much potential…can make the gaming experience smarter and more adaptable. But games made by people, with all their heart and consideration, they will always have a place” he told the BBC.
The emergence of a ”double demand”
Furthermore, Hulst envisioned a future in which AI and human developers coexist, each satisfying different needs and preferences within the game: ”I suspect that there will be a double demand in games: one of innovative experiences driven by AI and another of thought-provoking artisanal content.” And he added that ‘‘striking the right balance between leveraging AI and preserving the human touch will be crucial”.
Under that line, the other co-CEO, Hideaki Nishinoagreed and assured that AI has more to do with improving the creative process, rather than taking control: ”It can handle repetitive tasks and expand what is possible in games, but the emotion, the soul, that still comes from the people”.
Recently, Elon Musk said his artificial intelligence startup, xAI, will launch an AI-powered game studio: ”There are too many game studios that are owned by large corporations. @xAI Going to create an AI gaming studio to make gaming great again! he stated in a post.
