Emily Blunt hinted that a sequel to the 2006 hit The devil wears fashionreuniting her with key cast members such as Meryl Streep and Stanley Tuccicould be on the way.
“There are rumors, there are things that are changing, but I don’t know if I can confirm anything completely… but We would all be happy to work together again.“Blunt said, in response to a question about a possible sequel at a conversation event at the Red Sea Film Festival from Saudi Arabia.

Looking back on that early period of her career, Blunt said the film’s success and the impact it had on her acting career had been unexpected.
“I didn’t know anything back then. I remember my agent calling me the opening weekend and saying, “This is what he’s done.” I asked him: “Is it good?” When we were filming it, we were laughing out loud every day. We thought we were doing something fun… but I didn’t know it would become as popular as it did… Now they quote it to me every week.”
