Chuck Norris: Actor mourns deceased mother

Chuck Norris (84) mourns the loss of his mother. Wilma Norris Knight died on Wednesday morning at the age of 103, the actor and martial artist announced on Friday evening. and wrote a touching text about her death.

His “wonderful” mother has now “gone home with Jesus,” said Norris, describing her as a woman of unwavering faith and a lighthouse in his life. He continued: “As we grew up, her laughter filled our home with joy, and her hugs gave us a sense of security that we will cherish forever. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel special and often put the needs of others above her own.”

His mother taught him the importance of kindness and compassion, Norris continued. He said he was grateful for the countless lessons, prayers, and the way she embodied the love of Christ.

In one of the photos, Norris is sitting on a terrace with his mother. In an older picture, mother and son dance together at a festival. A more recent photo shows Wilma with a bouquet of flowers in her hand. The last is a black and white picture that shows the mother with her three sons. The actor signs his post with the words: “We love you, mom. Until we meet again.”

It is not the first time that Norris has publicly honored his mother with a text. in which he described her challenging life and praised her perseverance and faith.
