Zachary Levi: “Shazam!” star becomes a father for the first time

Zachary Levi (44) is becoming a father for the first time. The actor announced on December 7th: “I’ve wanted to be a father since I was a child. […] But deep down I knew that some things in my life had to change before I was ready for the blessing of something so special and the responsibility that comes with it,” he wrote in a series of photos that included an ultrasound image.

In November last year he finally began to turn his life around. Shortly afterwards he met his girlfriend and the mother of his unborn child, Maggie Keating (28).

“A wonderful woman who is on the same journey of self-discovery and love and is ready to start a new and amazing chapter of life with me. […] We can’t wait for you to meet our little Bambino,” Levi continued. The couple doesn’t want to find out the gender of their child until birth. But the “Shazam!” star is already open to name suggestions. “Keep them original “But not too original,” he joked. This will be the first child for both Levi and Keating.

Zachary Levi celebrated his breakthrough in 2007 with the lead role in the NBC series “Chuck”. In the years that followed, he appeared in front of the camera for projects such as “Thor: The Dark World” (2013) and “Thor: Ragnarok” (2017) as well as “Shazam!” (2019). In 2010, he also lent his voice to the character Flynn Rider in the original version of Disney’s animated film “Rapunzel”. The duet “I See the Light” with Mandy Moore (40) was even nominated for an Oscar.

Levi’s partner took part in the show “America’s Next Top Model” in 2018 and came in 15th place. Since then, Keating has worked as a model, photographer and content creator.
