Singer Vanessa Mai (32) apparently has a special Australian fan: Pop star Sia (48) shared a link to Mai’s song “Snowman” in an Instagram story. It says: “Your favorite Christmas song in German.” The singer, who has around 8.3 million followers on Instagram, has a special connection to the song.

The single “Snowman,” which was released in mid-November and has recently been available, is based on Sia’s hit “Snowman,” which was released in 2017. “There are many German versions of various Christmas songs, but ‘Snowman’ hasn’t existed yet,” said Mai in an interview with spot on news about the song’s release. “And it fits perfectly in German, which isn’t always the case.”

She also has “only good” childhood memories of past Christmases, said the musician. “My parents always gave me the best celebrations. I especially liked when my dad played gigs and we were there.
