“Oppenheimer” star Emma Dumont (30) has made it public that she identifies as a non-binary person. This is evident from the acting star.
The profile now runs under the name Nick Dumont. You can read “they/them” in the bio. In the English language, these are the pronouns for people who identify as non-binary. Previously, “she/her” stood in the same place.
“Transmasculine non-binary person”
As a spokesperson for Dumont explained to the , Dumont “identifies as a transmasculine non-binary person” but will continue to work under the name Emma Dumont. In private, friends and family will now call the film star Nick. On Instagram, Dumont said: “Just call me Nick when you’re cool, okay?” Many fans and followers seem cool with it. There are a few comments below celebrating Nick’s coming out with lots of love.
Emma Dumont was last seen in Christopher Nolan’s (54) Oscar-winning film “Oppenheimer” alongside Cillian Murphy (48) in the role of Jackie Oppenheimer. Previously, Dumont also played female roles in several series, such as “The Gifted” and “Aquarius”.
Dumont will next be seen in the film – coincidentally very appropriately titled – “New Me,” which is currently in post-production. It is not yet known when the film will be released.
