Catherine Zeta-Jones is once again attracting everyone’s attention: at a festival she posed in an eye-catching fishnet dress.
Catherine Zeta-Jones (55) attended the “Women in Cinema” gala dinner on December 6th as part of The Red Sea International Film Festival. The actress appeared in a black, long-sleeved mesh dress with a floral embroidery pattern and a long train. Zeta-Jones completed the glamorous look with silver-colored jewelry. She styled her dark hair in loose waves for the appearance. She was accompanied by her husband Michael Douglas (80): to match his wife, he posed in a black suit with a shirt of the same color.
For the couple, who have been married since 2000, it is the second glamorous appearance in Saudi Arabia within a short period of time. Previously, on December 5, Zeta-Jones and Douglas attended the opening ceremony of The Red Sea International Film Festival. At the event, the 55-year-old wore a floor-length, blue gown with a subtle leg slit and a matching cape. Douglas chose a black suit, which he paired with a white shirt.
Saudi Arabia’s first film festival
The Red Sea International Film Festival was launched in 2019 with the aim of establishing Saudi Arabia’s film industry. Due to the corona pandemic, the first multi-day event in March 2020 had to be canceled. More than a year later, in November 2021, the festival finally took place. This year, in addition to Zeta-Jones and Douglas, actors Will Smith (56), Eva Longoria (49) and Cynthia Erivo (37), among others, also moved to Saudi Arabia. The star-studded festival takes place in Jeddah until December 14th.
