Oti Mabuse had to leave the British jungle camp on Saturday. Motsi Mabuse is proud of her sister and is relieved.

Oti Mabuse (34) had to leave the British version of the jungle camp on Saturday (December 7th). In the semifinals it was no longer enough to advance to “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”. Coleen Rooney (38), Danny Jones (38) and Richard Coles (62) continue to fight for victory.

Oti’s older sister Motsi Mabuse (43) shared a clip showing a childhood photo of the two together and wrote: “Seeing you shine in the jungle was nothing short of inspiring. Your strength, kindness and determination have touched so many hearts – too ours.”

The 43-year-old continued: “We are very proud of you and everything you have achieved, overcoming every challenge with grace and perseverance. You have proven once again why you are such a star, both on and off away from the dance floor.” She ended her post with: “We love you and will always be cheering you on – no matter where your journey takes you next. Thank you for being you.”

“Don’t ever do that to me again”

In an Instagram story, Motsi Mabuse also apparently shows the first virtual reunion with her sister after her exit from the TV show. In one picture, the sisters can be seen beaming during a video call. The “Let’s Dance” juror wrote: “Never do that to me again.”

In a clip after her elimination, Oti Mabuse had already performed “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” explains that her sister is the first person she wants to call. “I’ve tried calling her but there’s no network here. I want to see her face, I want to tell her everything and I want to know who else is on Strictly.” Oti Mabuse refers to “Strictly Come Dancing”. Motsi Mabuse is also a judge in the British version of “Let’s Dance”.

Motsi Mabuse had previously commented on her sister’s participation in the UK jungle camp. “When my sister first told me she was going to be on ‘I’m a Celebrity…’ we had so many conversations about it. As usual, I was worried – worried about the challenges, the unknowns and all that stuff “that big sisters worry about,” Mabuse began her contribution to shared photos online. Her sister was then quickly able to convince her to take part.

She reminded her to “face fear head-on and the beauty of letting go. That’s exactly what she is – fearless, bold and always paving her own path.” Oti has “danced to her own rhythm from the beginning and every time she does it, she inspires us all to believe in ourselves a little more.”
