Johnny Depp: The actor’s son works in the restaurant

Jack (22), the son of Johnny Depp (61), seems to have no interest in a life in the public eye. As a restaurant owner himself revealed, Depp worked in a Lebanese restaurant called L’Area in Paris for two years – as a bartender. “Jack is a great guy. He stays out of the spotlight but has worked here behind the bar and in the kitchen,” enthused Edouard Chueke. The celebrity scion resigned about two months ago, but Chueke is sure that Depp will be back soon: “I’m expecting him back later next year. Good staff is hard to find.”

According to the owner, the restaurant in the French capital is “very popular with fashion and music fans.” In addition to the actors Matt Damon (54) and Matt Dillon (60), Depp’s mother Vanessa Paradis (51) and his sister Lily-Rose (25) are also regular guests at the restaurant. “Lily was mixing caipirinhas behind the bar and really got into the swing of it, she enjoyed it,” Chueke said.

The son of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, Jack Depp was born three years after his sister on April 9, 2002. Paradis tried to keep her children out of the public eye. “I actually keep them away from the cameras because I don’t want our children to be forced to share in our fame against their will,” Paradis told Belgian media in 2007, according to the Daily Mail report. It was important to the 51-year-old to give her offspring a choice.

Since then, her son has lived in the shadow of his famous family. After a short career as a model, Depp’s sister, like her parents, decided to enter the film industry: at the age of 15, she received her first role in the horror film “Tusk” (2014). In the following ten years, the 25-year-old appeared in front of the camera for numerous projects, most recently for the series “The Idol” (2023, on HBO and Max).
