Some stars didn’t miss the Formula 1 finale in Abu Dhabi. Brad Pitt had a very special weekend.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix once again attracted some stars at the weekend. International celebrities appeared on the track around the race on Sunday (December 8th), which Lando Norris (25) won and McLaren made.
Jared Leto (52) stood out with his look. The US actor and musician chose a see-through black shirt and wore statement mirrored sunglasses. British actor Jason Statham (57) was also present and posed with employees in the Red Bull garage, among other places. Tennis star Jannik Sinner (23) and US actor Terry Crews (56) and members of the rock band Muse watched the racing spectacle.
Shooting for a Formula 1 film
A few days before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, there were already photos showing Hollywood star Brad Pitt (60) on a set at the Yas Marina Circuit racetrack there. Pitt filmed his racing film “F1” there. He was seen wearing a white racing suit from his fictional racing team, APXGP. F1 drivers Lewis Hamilton (39) and George Russell (26) were also at the race track. Pitt then found space.
Pitt was also in attendance on Sunday, filming the final scenes for the film. , Pitt is said to have even mingled with the F1 drivers during the national anthem. Pitt plays the lead role of Sonny Hayes, a former driver who returns to Formula 1. Damson Idris (33) plays an aspiring racing driver to whom Pitt’s character serves as a mentor. Filming for “F1”, which took place repeatedly in the racing series, began at the beginning of July 2023. Pitt’s new racing driver film is scheduled to come to cinemas in June 2025.
