Actress Katie Holmes criticizes a British tabloid with sharp words. It’s about daughter Suri and money.
The US actress Katie Holmes (45) sharply rejects a report by the British tabloid “Daily Mail” about her daughter Suri’s alleged fortune of millions. “Completely wrong,” Holmes wrote on Instagram above an image of the newspaper article. “Daily Mail, you can stop making stuff up,” she continues. She captioned the posting with “Enough.”
The headline of the article describes 18-year-old Suri Cruise as a millionaire. The only child from the divorced marriage of Holmes and Hollywood star Tom Cruise (62) is said to have been given access to a sizeable trust fund by his father at the age of 18.
Suri celebrated her 18th birthday last April. The teenager graduated from school in New York in June. According to media reports, Suri is now attending Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Holmes (“Dawson’s Creek”) and “Mission Impossible” star Cruise married in 2006, seven months after Suri was born. The couple announced their separation in 2012.
