He denies rape allegations

After Sean “Diddy” Combs, there are now serious allegations against music producer Jay-Z: Did the men rape a 13-year-old together?

Did Sean “Diddy” Combs (55) and music producer Jay-Z (55) sexually abuse a 13-year-old girl together in 2000? This is what a woman claims, who has now expanded her civil lawsuit against Combs to include the husband of singer Beyoncé (43). Jay-Z defends himself against the accusation and describes it as “disgusting” in a statement.

Drugged and assaulted?

An unnamed woman amended her previous civil lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, according to NBC News. She now claims the two men attacked and raped her at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards after-show party. A female celebrity, who was not named, would have watched. The civil lawsuit was originally filed in October in New York City, with the names of two celebrities redacted and only Sean “Diddy” Combs listed as a defendant. An amended complaint was then filed on Sunday, December 8, naming Carter.

“Defendant Sean Combs, along with his longtime friend and colleague Shawn Carter (aka ‘JayZ’), drugged and raped a thirteen-year-old girl at an afterparty following the 2000 Video Music Awards,” the lawsuit states. “Another celebrity stood by and watched as Combs and Carter took turns attacking the minor.” When she arrived at the party, the alleged victim had to sign a non-disclosure agreement and was then drugged with a drink. The woman said Combs later came up to her, had a “crazy look in his eyes” and told her, “You’re ready to party!” First Jay-Z raped her, then Combs. The plaintiff is demanding unspecified damages.

Jay-Z accuses lawyer of blackmail

Jay-Z published a detailed statement on the Roc Nation X account (formerly Twitter) on Sunday and described the lawsuit as an “attempt at blackmail.” The accusation is false. Against lawyer Tony Buzbee, he railed: “He expected that the nature of these allegations and the publicity would cause me to settle. No, sir, it had the opposite effect! It caused me to attack you in a very public way to expose you as the fraud that you are. So no, I won’t give you a red penny!” The allegations are “so heinous that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil complaint! Anyone who commits such a crime against a minor should be locked up, don’t you agree? These alleged victims deserve real justice in this case.” .

Combs’ lawyers also denied the allegations in a statement. “This amended complaint and the recent extortion lawsuit against Mr. Buzbee expose his barrage of lawsuits against Mr. Combs for what they are: shameless publicity stunts designed to extort payments from celebrities who fear lies are being spread about them , just as lies were spread about Mr. Combs.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been in custody since September. The prosecutor in New York accuses him of, among other things, sex trafficking, organized crime and sexual assault. Combs pleaded not guilty. Attorney Buzbee announced in October that he would represent 120 people in allegations against the rapper. The trial is tentatively scheduled to begin in May 2025.
