Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender: Radiant couple appearance in London

Rare couple appearance by Alicia Vikander (36) and Michael Fassbender (47): The Hollywood couple, who became parents for the second time this year, appeared arm in arm on the red carpet on Sunday (December 8th). 27th British Independent Film Awards. Vikander attracted attention in a sparkling green dress, while Fassbender shined at her side in a brown tuxedo.

The Swedish actress’ evening dress was decorated all over with shimmering green sequins. Sweeping flounces on the skirt and a high leg slit made the cut a special eye-catcher. The Swede wore her brown hair open. Silver statement earrings and natural make-up completed the red carpet look.

Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender have been married since fall 2017 and became parents for the first time in 2021, which came to light more or less by chance. The couple attaches great importance to their privacy. They met in 2014 while filming “The Light Between Oceans” (2016).

The 36-year-old revealed this summer that she had become a mother again. In the conversation, her fellow actress Taylor Russell (30) revealed that she was “so impressed” by Vikander’s physical work for her film “Hope”, especially because she had just had her second baby.

Vikander then revealed: “All women have such different experiences and going through it a second time was definitely more difficult for me.” Training made it easier for her. “Going through these nine months is like a marathon,” said the actress. “It’s so physically demanding and I admire every woman who has done it.”
