Glamor appearance amid the rape accusation: Jay-Z and Beyoncé presented themselves as a strong unit on Monday.

After the rape accusation, music producer Jay-Z (55) obviously doesn’t want to hide. On the contrary: he goes on the offensive. On Monday evening he defied the headlines and made a glamorous appearance with his wife Beyoncé (43) and daughter Blue Ivy (12) at the premiere of Disney’s “Mufasa: The Lion King”.

Beyoncé and Blue Ivy shine in gold

The family was all smiles as they posed on the red carpet at the film’s premiere at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California on Monday night (December 9). The rapper wore a brown suit, a white shirt and a black tie for his appearance, while the women at his side shone in eye-catching gold gowns. Beyoncé chose a low-cut, metallic gold dress. Her eldest daughter wore a gold, strapless ball gown, the sweeping train of which was even partially worn by her famous parents so Blue Ivy could walk.

According to a video shared by E! News, Beyoncé and Jay-Z beamed with pride as they witnessed their daughter’s special moment on the red carpet. The family unity was further strengthened by the singer’s mother, Tina Knowles (70).

Insiders told the New York Post that there were rumors the stars didn’t want to attend the event, but then changed their minds after the lawsuit. Beyoncé and her daughter took on voice acting roles in the film.

Woman makes serious allegations against Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs

Jay-Z’s statement came after he and fellow rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, were accused of raping a 13-year-old girl one after the other at an MTV Video Music Awards after-show party in 2000. On Sunday, the two men were named in a civil lawsuit filed by an unidentified woman who claimed the duo assaulted her. The original October lawsuit was amended to include Jay-Z’s name after initially only naming Combs as a defendant. A female celebrity whose name is still unknown is said to have watched the crime.

Jay-Z immediately denied the allegations in a statement, claiming that Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee was trying to blackmail him. “He expected that the nature of these allegations and the publicity would make me want to settle,” the music mogul wrote. “No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me expose you in a very public way for the fraud that you are.”

On Monday, he filed to dismiss the lawsuit, calling the complaint a “cynical and calculated” plan to “force payment of an exorbitant sum of money.” Jay-Z strongly condemned the “baseless allegations” and accused the plaintiff of hiding behind a pseudonym. He demanded that her identity be revealed.

Combs’ lawyers also sharply criticized the lawsuit, calling it another “shameless publicity stunt.” The musician has been in custody since September. He is accused of, among other things, sex trafficking, organized crime and sexual assault. The trial is scheduled to begin in May 2025.
