The Ballermann singer Melanie Müller is being investigated again. She is said to have parked in a disabled parking space with a fake ID.
The Ballermann singer Melanie Müller has again come into the sights of the investigators. The 36-year-old’s house in Leipzig was searched on Tuesday, a police spokeswoman said upon request. The accusation is based on suspicion of forgery of documents. Accordingly, Müller is said to have parked in a disabled parking space during an appointment at the Leipzig District Court this year. According to the accusation, the disabled person’s ID card provided was a forgery. Several media outlets had previously reported.
The Recklinghausen district, to which the ID card was issued, filed a complaint with the Leipzig public prosecutor’s office. Müller’s house was then searched. The police spokeswoman explained that they were looking for evidence. She did not provide any further details.
Melanie Müller convicted of Nazi salute
In August, the district court sentenced the former RTL jungle queen to a total fine of 160 daily rates of 500 euros each, i.e. 80,000 euros, for using the symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations as well as drug possession.
According to the court, Müller showed the Hitler salute several times at a concert in Leipzig in September 2022. Investigators also discovered 0.69 grams of cocaine mixture and an ecstasy tablet during a search of Müller’s apartment.
Müller appealed against this. According to a spokesman for the Leipzig Regional Court, this will be heard next year.
