A good year after the death of actor Elmar Wepper, his widow Anita talks about small progress in dealing with her grief. “There is this sentence: Time heals all wounds. That’s not true,” said Anita Wepper to the magazine “Bunte” (Thursday). Time doesn’t heal, “but it helps,” Wepper explained. “I am a person who looks forward.”
According to “Bunten”, Wepper has also found stability in the company of her dog “Emma” in recent months. The animal is very sensitive. “Before I go to sleep at night, she comes to bed with me on a blanket for five minutes.” The dog obviously wants her to be a little happier, Wepper said. Then “Emma” goes back into her basket.
Elmar Wepper died at the end of October 2023 at the age of 79. Wepper was known, among other things, from the ZDF series “Zwei Münchner in Hamburg” and the film “Cherry Blossoms – Hanami”. A few months after him last March, his older brother and fellow actor Fritz Wepper died after a long illness.
