The band Revolverheld around singer Johannes Strate wants to take a break from 2026 – the end is open. There are already ideas for what will happen afterwards.
Singer Johannes Strate (44), frontman of the band Revolverheld, could imagine working in an office. “It sounds crazy, but when you’re always creative and have all this freedom, sometimes this strange longing for a structured office job arises in you,” Strate told Stern magazine. “I might not be willing to work 40 hours a week. But I can well imagine working on a project,” said the singer.
The band recently announced that they would be taking an indefinite break from 2026. Before that, the Hamburg group is planning a “20 Years of Open Airs” tour. It’s not yet clear what he wants to do after that, but something out of the ordinary could also be an option, said Strate: “Let’s assume I would spend time in Greece, it could be that I really want to become an olive farmer.”
