Marius Borg Høiby recently spent time in custody on suspicion of rape. Now a woman affected says she was not raped by him.
The allegations that have recently been made against Marius Borg Høiby are serious. Oslo police accuse Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s son of rape in several cases. She has cell phone videos in which the 27-year-old is said to be performing sexual acts on women while they are unconscious. Borg Høiby vehemently denies the allegations, but recently had to spend a week in custody.
Marius Borg Høiby: The woman affected does not see herself as a victim
Now one of the women affected has spoken out through her lawyer. According to the police, the woman was raped by the princess’ son in his estate on the royal court of Skaugum. As a result, an injunction was imposed on Borg Høiby so that he is no longer allowed to approach her. “On her behalf, I have asked that the law enforcement authorities reconsider the ban on visits. It is in the public interest and not at her request. She wants the ban to be lifted,” the Norwegian newspaper “VG” quoted lawyer Gunhild Vehusheia as saying . “She is not afraid that Marius Borg Høiby will contact her or harass her,” said Vehusheia.
Mette-Marit and Haakon beam at the Nobel Prize ceremony despite Marius’ worries
Mette-Marit has been worried about her eldest son Marius Borg Høiby for a long time. The general public only learned of his drug problems in August, when the 27-year-old was arrested after an attack on a girlfriend in Oslo. He is currently in a rehab clinic. Meanwhile, the show must go on in Norway. At the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony in Oslo, Mette-Marit and Crown Prince Haakon presented themselves as a unit

The woman concerned did not have the feeling that she had been raped by the 27-year-old. The lawyer makes it clear that they are friends, even if they were not lovers. Borg Høiby also had permission to film the woman.
Two counts of alleged rape
Two cases of so-called “sleep rape”, in which the alleged victim is not conscious, were recently discussed by the Norwegian police. The incident in Skaugum is said to have taken place in September; for the other allegations, the police are referring to videos from April. The Norwegian “Dagbladet” reported that it was “hard” for the woman affected. It wasn’t she who reported Mette-Marit’s son, but rather the police after they found a video of the alleged crime on the 27-year-old’s cell phone.
